A selection of images from my recent vacation in Toronto. Photographed with a Canon G9 and fine-tuned in Paint Shop Pro X2.

Some really beutifull shots, love the lightning one. They are all really nice, such great colors, fantastic.

Hi,

Your photos are really good quality, could you tell me what camera you use?

Chris

Sorry for not mentioning it in the post – I've fixed that now. I use a Canon G9 digital camera. I keep the ISO locked at around 80-100 to keep noise down as much as possible, so a lot of shots require the use of a tripod (a Joby Gorillapod SLR) and a longer exposure time. When I want to do some time-lapse photography, or experiment with more extreme settings than the G9 is capable of by default, I load up CHDK: http://chdk.wikia.com

The G9 (and newer G10) is a great camera, but is essentially just a point-and-shoot, so it is quite limited in many respects. It's fine for me at the moment, because I'm really just a casual photographer, but I would definitely like to upgrade to something with more flexibility in the future.

Where is "the video"?
