Flash Sketch Prototype

sketch

Inspired by Steve Mason’s awesome Flash sketch tool, I decided to have a go at creating my own. It’s just a very rough prototype at the moment but it’s already looking quite organic. I think it has potential if I ever find the time to continue working on it. I would like to include some basic layer support with multiple blending modes, different brush/medium types, etc.

Left mouse button to draw (colour is simply chosen at random for now).
Z key to undo to last brush stroke.
E key to erase the canvas.

Requires Flash player 8!

This is looking really fantastic. I can see a lot of advert possibilities with this…

genial muy divertido

I love this – please continue to develop it. I used to draw at Sketchfu.com but the site has been abandoned by it’s creators and suffers from dreadful lag . . . most good artists have left to go to flyingginkgo.com
I just know that lots of them would use this program

looks really good. it would be great if you could create a tutorial on how you made it.

also, what’s really missing from these sketch applications is the ability to export the artwork as PDF and use the sketches as high-res artwork in print design. maybe that’s something you could take on :)

Nice! I don’t know too much about programming, but i always like to find new drawing software. It also works with my tablet :) You should continue this project.

need a reset button…

As it says in the description:
[Z] to undo to last brush stroke
[E] to erase the canvas
